Chidi Eze

Scanned. Marked paid.

This month

18 of 24 paid

until 31 Oct

Daily

One session, one fee. Useful when the group meets every day.

Weekly

A standing day. The dates fill themselves from the schedule.

Monthly

One payment covers every session in that month.

Yearly

A full year. The leader sets the amount once.

The old way

A chat thread is a poor treasurer.

Names in a chat

Transfer screenshots pile up. Someone still has to remember who sent what.

Cash at the gate

Someone pays in person and never appears on the list the leader posted.

A debate at the door

Nobody can tell, quickly, who is covered for today and who is not.

How it works

Three steps. Then the list keeps itself.

  1. 01

    Name the group

The leader adds the name, venue, and time, then sets the fee and the rhythm: daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.

  2. 02

    Collect or record

Members pay in the app. If someone pays cash or transfers outside it, the leader records that payment once.

  3. 03

    Check the pass

A valid pass carries a QR code. Scan it for that date, or tick present and absent by hand.

Hands arranging four calendars in gold, green, clay, and charcoal.

The leader sets the fee

There is no fixed price. Each group chooses the amount and whether people pay by the day, the week, the month, or the year.

A green membership card with a QR pattern and a gold stripe.

One payment, one pass

A period payment creates a single pass for the dates it covers. The leader does not make a new session by hand each time you meet.

A leader scanning a member's pass while a short attendance list sits beside them.

Scan it, or tick it

The QR confirms the pass is valid for this group and this date. The leader can still mark attendance without a scan.

A leader holding cash beside a phone that shows a payment recorded.

Paid outside the app

Cash and bank transfers still happen. Record them, and that member gets the same pass as everyone who paid in Teemvest.

The pass

Covered dates, on one card.

A monthly fee does not create a separate charge for every meeting. It creates one pass. The QR is there so the leader can confirm it when someone arrives. The same idea works for a week, a day, or a year.

Questions leaders ask first.

Who runs a group?

The leader creates it and sets the name, the fee, and the schedule. Members join that group. They cannot open another group's records by changing the address.

Can more than one group use Teemvest?

Yes. A savings circle, a choir, an estate contribution, a training group — each one has its own leader, members, price, and calendar.

What if the fee is not monthly?

The leader picks daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly and types the amount. Teemvest builds the covered dates from that rhythm.

What if someone did not pay in the app?

The leader records the payment. It is stored as a manual payment, with who entered it, and it is not applied twice.

How does the QR code work?

Every pass has a code. The leader scans it to confirm the pass is valid for that group and that date. Attendance can still be ticked by hand.

Name the group. Set the fee.

That is the whole start. Members join the group you created. The chat list can retire.
